This is not a beginner macrame project—I would call it intermediate macrame. However, this pattern is easy to follow with many explicit pictures and very detailed instructions for creating a beautiful macrame bag. If you are a beginner maker, I highly recommend you practice the knots for this project using the link provided in the pattern. It leads to a video I made specifically for this pattern, which covers the main points where you might have difficulty and includes short tutorials that will be useful for you. The video is only available via the link for those who have purchased the pattern. Additionally, the pattern includes links to other videos on my YouTube channel for specific knots. These tutorials are filmed using thicker cords, which will be more practical for beginners.
The materials needed for this project are as follows:
3mm/0.12 inch 3-ply twisted cotton cord - 230m/251.5 yards
leather bag handles - 2 pieces
scissors, measuring tape, colourless glue
wool needle - can be replaced with crochet hook
2-4 hooks (if you works on hooks as I am) or
macrame board and pins (if you works on horizontally surface)
